southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is
producing disorganized shower activity.  There is some potential for
development during the next day or two before the environment
becomes unfavorable. The system is forecast to move toward the west
or west-northwest at about 10 mph.

* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent.

pressure centered about 1175 miles southwest of the southern tip of
the Baja California peninsula continues to become better organized.
There is potential for a tropical depression to form during the next
day or so before upper-level winds become less favorable for
development.
